急性リンパ芽球性白血病に合併した
全身性カンジダ症の犬の1例

要　　　　　約 　 　7歳，雄の雑種犬が1カ月にわたる食欲不振と元気消失を主訴に来院した．血液検査では軽度の貧血と重度の白血球増加症がみられた．末梢血と骨髄の塗抹では多数のリンパ芽球様細胞が認められ，急性リンパ芽球性白血病と診断された．サイクロフォスファミド，ビンクリスチンおよびプレドニゾロンによる化学療法を行ったが，第41病日に死の転帰をとった．病理組織学的検査で，肝臓，脾臓，心臓，横隔膜，膀胱およびリンパ節にCandida albicans感染を伴う巣状壊死病変がみられた．犬の急性白血病に合併した全身性カンジダ症の報告はこれまでないが，今後増加するものと考えられる． ―キーワード：急性リンパ芽球性白血病，犬，全身性カンジダ症． --------------------日獣会誌　54，629〜632（2001） Systemic Candidiasis in a Dog with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Tadashi MIYAMOTO＊, Ikuko MIYATA, Tomoaki KUBO, Koichi NOMURA, Hiroyuki TANI, Eiichiro BABA†, Mayumi UENO, Mitsuru KUWAMURA, Joji YAMATE and Takao KOTANI ＊College of Agriculture, Osaka Prefecture University, 1-1 Gakuencho, Sakai 599-8531, Japan SUMMARY 　Hematological examinations of a seven-year-old male mongrel dog with a one-month history of anorexia and depression revealed mild nonregenerative anemia and severe leukocytosis. Numerous blast cells resembling lymphoblasts were observed in smear samples from peripheral blood and bone marrow. A diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia was made. Although chemotherapy with cyclophosphamide, vincristine, and predonisolone was performed, the dog died 41 days after initial presentation. Histopathological examination revealed multifocal necrotic lesions with Candida albicans in the liver, spleen, heart, diaphragm, urinary bladder, and lymph nodes.
