イベルメクチン経口投与が奏効した全身性犬ニキビダニ症6例

全身性犬ニキビダニ症罹患犬6例にイベルメクチン経口投与を行った．すべての症例で臨床症状は改善した．4例に0.6mg/kg連日投与を行い，うち1例ではイベルメクチンを大量（2.5mg/kg）に誤飲し副作用が認められたが，治療を中断したところ，副作用は翌日消失した．残り3例の治療終了期間はそれぞれ7週間，12週間および13週間であり，再発は認められなかった．イベルメクチン0.4mg/kg隔日投与を行った1例の治療終了期間は8カ月であったが，治療終了3カ月後に皮膚掻爬検査で陽性が確認され，追加治療を2カ月間行った．イベルメクチン0.6mg/kg隔日投与を行った1例の治療終了期間は12カ月と長期であった．以上の結果から，全身性犬ニキビダニ症に対してイベルメクチン0.6mg/kg連日投与が有用であると考察された． *現所属：山口大学連合大学院（〒753-8515 山口市大字吉田1677-1）

Oral Ivermectin Used to Treat Generalized Canine Demodicosis in 6 DogsKenji TANI*, Sanae HAYASHIYA and Yasuho TAURA
SUMMARY Oral administration of ivermectin to 6 dogs with generalized demodicosis resulted in clinical improvements
in all cases. Four of the dogs received 0.6 mg/kg every 24 hours. Mild ivermectin toxicosis was observed
in one of these dogs, to which 2.5 mg/kg were administered inadvertently. This side effect disappeared
immediately after treatment stopped. For the other animals in this group, treatment lasted 7 weeks in
one case, 12 weeks in one case, and 3 months in one case. The fifth dog received 0.4 mg/kg daily for
8 months. In this case, relapse occurred 3 months after treatment stopped; and the same therapy was repeated
for an additional 2 months. Treatment of the sixth dog, to which 0.6 mg/kg was administered every other
day, lasted 12 months. Daily oral administration of 0.6 mg/kg proved to be the most effective treatment
