猫の東洋眼虫寄生の1例

要　　　　　約 　1984年に山口市内で飼育されていた日本猫（雑種，雌，6歳，体重3.5kg）の瞬膜下に線虫7匹（右瞬膜下3匹，左瞬膜下4匹; 体長9.0〜18.0mm）が寄生し，すべてが雌で，体長のクチクラには条線がみられ，体辺縁は鋸歯状で，尾部は短く，その先端は鈍円であった．口腔の発達は悪く，食道は太くよく発達し，神経輪は食道のほぼ中央に存在した．陰門は体前方1/3の位置に開口し，子宮は未熟幼虫によって満たされていた．形態学的特徴からテラジア科Thelaziidaeの東洋眼虫Thelazia callipaedaと同定された． ―キーワード：猫，東洋眼虫，人獣共通感染症． --------------------日獣会誌　52，388〜390（1999） Thelazia callipaeda Infection in a Cat Akihiko UCHIDA and Yoshihiko MURATA Department of Medical Zoology, Azabu University, 1-17-71 Fuchinobe, Sagamihara 229-8501, Japan SUMMARY 　In August 1984, a 6-year-old female Japanese cat, weighting 3.5 kg and kept in Yamaguchi City, was shown to have 7 eye worms on the conjunctiva, mostly in the conjunctival sac under the nictitating membrane. The cat developed no eye discharge, lacrimation, photophobia, conjunctivitis nor corneitis.
